Meeting Facilitator for FARE Program

The individual will provide neutral facilitation of strength-based family meetings for families who are working in the Children’s Services Department (CSD) system to support timely creation of the family's case plan, promote collaborative problem solving and create effective safety plans that lead to successful outcomes for families.

Examples of Duties:

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Facilitator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and documenting family meetings to meet the needs of the family and CSD. Maintain neutrality and compassionate composure while serving a diverse range of personalities in environments that can be escalated emotionally. Participants will include parents, their extended support network, social workers and service providers. Collaborate with CSD staff and provide orientation to parents and extended family members. Must be comfortable working in a team environment.


Starting Range: $21.54 (Step A) - $22.85 (Step C)

Minimum Employment Qualifications:

BS/BA in social service field. Experience in Safety Organized Practice, motivational interviewing, or mediation preferred. Must be able to type 45 wpm. Individuals must have good verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate, strong typing skills, comfortable meeting and networking with individuals with diverse skills and backgrounds, work within deadlines, have reliable transportation, pass an extensive background check and DOJ &FBI clearance.

Work schedule is variable 40 hours, Monday-Friday, between 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, use good judgment, be neutral and be part of a team as well as having a curious and open mind to broadening their skill base.
