Snap-Ed stands for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program–Education. This program focuses on bettering the lives of others through nutrition and physical education. Our mission is to provide access to every possible nutritional resource that is available to those who are low income.
NVCSS SNAP-Ed is active in reaching out to the community and work with a number of local organizations and officials to spread the word about SNAP-Ed. Our nutrition educators are dedicated to making a difference in this community.

This program is offered throughout Butte, Glenn, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama and Trinity counties.
