July 21, 2020
Dear Members, Friends & Supporters:
It has become clear that it is not wise for the Iversen Center to open tomorrow [Wednesday, July 22, 2020] as planned—as Butte County will soon be on the State’s monitoring list due to rising COVID-19 cases. In collaboration with Butte County Behavioral Health’s recent decision to again close their outpatient programs to the public for walk-ins, we will follow suit.
Please know that the Iversen Center Zoom groups will continue and we intend to expand them. Let us know what you’d like to see us offer virtually.
Also know that you are welcome to call the Iversen Center at 879-3311, Monday through Friday, from 9am – 3pm, to arrange a time to talk to a Peer Assistant on the phone. And of course, you can access the North Valley Warmline at 1-855-582-5554 from 11:30 am through 9:30 pm every day of the week, 365 days a year.
As we move forward in these extremely challenging times, know that we are still here for you – and that we miss you. Be safe! Wear a mask when out in public, practice social distancing and wash your hands often.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
Corla Bertrand
Program Manager
