The NVCSS office location in Corning is a bustling hub for information, referrals and services. We help to strengthen families in our community and fight poverty by offering programs that educate families and develop their skills. Our services include:
- Immigration Integration
- Job Readiness classes in both English and Spanish
- Resume Creation
- A computer lab that is open to the public
- Technology classes in a bilingual format
What We Do
- We host community meetings with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, District 22
- We refer families to the First5, School Readiness Program
- We facilitate Adopt-A-Family in December and assist with sign ups for the Back to School Project in June
- We host the Community Action Agency, VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program during tax season
- Provide up to date information on community run programs and services
