The NVCSS Disaster Services team is actively engaged in supporting evacuees and local shelters during critical times. Our disaster response includes Psychological First Aid and Crisis counselors stationed at shelter locations. Additionally, Case Managers are deployed to assist and support the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) programs, initiatives, and activities, as well as providing aid at local shelters.
To further bolster our efforts, the NVCSS Wildfire Resilience Fund has been established to raise funds specifically for Disaster Response initiatives.
