Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Clinical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic services in a variety of environments, including our office, client homes, schools, and other community settings. Your caseload will vary and include working with children starting at age 5, adolescents, and adults. As part of a supportive team, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy across multiple modalities.

Examples of Duties:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Conduct initial assessments, including diagnosis and the development of treatment plans.
  • Complete case notes, progress reports, and summation reports as required.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings and agency training sessions.
  • Appear in court as required for agency-related cases.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

 


Salary:

Starting Range: $32.58 (Step C) - $37.38 (Step G)

Minimum Employment Qualifications:

Qualifications:
A registered CA intern, MFT or LCSW required. Experience providing therapy in a clinical setting is preferred. All eligible candidates must be currently registered and in good standing with the BBS. Experience with Medi-Cal billing, EHR, and clinical documentation.

Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of biopsychosocial rehabilitation principles, procedures, and techniques. Proficient in word processing and documentation standards for health, social services, and law enforcement agencies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professional composure in challenging situations.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and communicate effectively. Occasionally required to lift and move up to 30 pounds. Ability to perform various physical activities such as standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Ability to adapt to high-stress situations and manage a clinically challenging client population. Ability to work non-standard hours if required.
