Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Supervising Clinician, the position primary responsibilities are to conduct psychotherapy with clients of all ages, using various modalities including individual, family, child, and group therapy to work toward improving and restoring individual and family functioning.


Examples of Duties:

The Associate Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic services in various environments ranging from the office, client homes, schools, and community settings. The caseload will vary and include children starting from age 5 through adults. This position will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, including diagnosis and treatment plans. Maintain documentation by completing ongoing case notes and creating progress and summation reports as required. Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings. Provide backup for telephone crisis calls as needed. Driving throughout the community will be required.


Salary:

Starting Range: $30.71 (Step A) - $32.58 (Step C)

Minimum Employment Qualifications:

A registered CA Intern, MFT or LCSW required. All eligible candidates must be currently registered and in good standing with the BBS. Experience with Medi-Cal billing, EHR, and clinical documentation.
