Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of families in the Gridley community.We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Case Manager to join our team at the Gridley Esperanza Family Resource Center. In this role, you will foster positive family dynamics, support parents, and nurture children's growth in the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community-based work and can empathically support families in their journey.
Examples of Duties:
- Case Management: Manage cases for specific age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschool-aged children, and adults. This includes creating and maintaining case files, conducting assessments, and preparing reports.
- Group Facilitation: Facilitate group sessions for parents and families, offering guidance on child development, parenting techniques, and family dynamics.
- Program Development: Contribute to the planning, teaching, and implementation of center programs that address the diverse needs of families. Collaborate with team members to ensure programs are engaging and impactful.
- Parental Support: Provide parents with information, resources, and strategies to promote positive parenting practices and enhance family well-being.
- Children Development: Organize activities that encourage learning, socialization, and creativity, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Feedback and Evaluation: Gather feedback from program participants and use evaluations to continuously improve the quality of center programs and services.
- Family Resource Center Operations: Assist in the daily operations of the Family Resource Center, including maintaining the food pantry and upholding cleanliness and organization standards.
- Expertise Development: Stay informed about the latest child development, parenting techniques, and community resources to provide relevant support to families.
- Specialized Support: Depending on your expertise, provide focused support to specific age groups, including adults, infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
- Perform related duties as requested or assigned.
Salary:
$21.54 (Step A) - $22.85 (Step C)Minimum Employment Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish (required) with cultural proficiency and the ability to translate documentation. Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, child development, health and community services, or a related field. A Child Development credential or relevant units is preferred. Experience in case management, group facilitation, or child-related services is advantageous. Experience working with specific age groups such as adults, infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively engage and connect with families. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic computer skills and proficiency with Google and Microsoft platforms. A passion for community-based work and a genuine desire to support families.Other:
